We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian Floater to join our team at Princeton University. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restocking, and refilling in different spaces across campus.
- Perform cleaning functions specific to your assigned facilities, based on your expertise and training.
- Work collaboratively with other facilities staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities management team.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in custodial or facilities maintenance work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
