Job Overview

The Utility Supply and Construction Company is seeking a skilled Directional Drill Operator to join our team. As a key member of our utility construction team, you will be responsible for operating directional drills to install gas pipelines in the state of Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate directional drills to install gas pipelines in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with foremen to ensure proper equipment and materials are on site.
  • Follow productivity work plans to maximize crew productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer policies regarding direction drilling and associated work.
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current driver's license with good driving record.
  • Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience with direction drill operations.
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in construction.
  • Completion of OSHA 10 and/or 40 Hour Training.

Compensation:

  • $30.46/Hour ($1.00 increase if you hold a valid CDL-A).
  • $25/day Per Diem.
