About the Role
This full-time position requires advanced knowledge of cardiac imaging, proficiency with GE Ultrasound Systems, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and a passion for serving those who have served our country.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform echocardiogram studies for Veterans, conduct various cardiac diagnostic procedures including Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies. They will also be responsible for obtaining and recording patient medical history, preparing patients for procedures, and explaining examination processes.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer who possesses strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
