We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for proactively managing patient flow, ensuring effective and quality care, and collaborating with leadership to support patient care areas.
Key Responsibilities- Lead shift huddles to ensure effective communication and coordination among team members
- Complete patient assignments and support daily operations to ensure seamless patient care
- Support organizational quality initiatives and throughput goals
- Complete required daily reports and checklists
- Current North Carolina RN licensure (or compact state)
- Minimum two (2) years patient care experience
- Strong problem-solving, flexibility, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under high levels of stress
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Specialty Certification
- Experience working as a charge nurse in an acute care setting
