Position: Safety and Security Specialist
As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will execute protective and enforcement duties with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a secure and safe environment within the hotel.
Your Career Advancement

Your Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned hotel areas.
- Respond promptly to disturbances and emergency situations.
- Maintain a daily log of activities.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding guest and employee incidents.
- Prepare and communicate incident reports and other relevant information to hotel management.
- Grant access to secured areas for authorized personnel.
- Complete incident and accident reports clearly and concisely.
- Assist guests with room access and escort them as needed.
- Focus on enhancing guest satisfaction scores and overall departmental performance.
- Adhere to sustainability practices in line with the company’s EarthView program.
- Follow safe work practices, utilize protective equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, if applicable.
- Assist with luggage and perform bell person duties.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
Your Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field. Previous security experience is advantageous. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Work Environment
Work schedules may vary, including weekends and holidays, with potential for alternate shifts. The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
