Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Programs Site Coordinator to join our team at Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising PARA youth programs at an assigned site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement leisure activities for youth participants
  • Supervise Program Assistants and ensure they are conducting activities in accordance with established policies and objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and partners
  • Collaborate with Operations Assistant and Program Supervisor to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants
Requirements
  • Ability to relate to children from diverse social and economic backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
