About the Role

Flock Safety is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our planner services team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling our deployment tools. If you are passionate about writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions for our planner services
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize features and improvements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with other services and systems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on fullstack development
  • Strong understanding of Typescript, Node.js, and modern web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS managed services (S3, API Gateway, SQS)
