SLPA Position Overview

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at the Massachusetts Day School. As an SLPA, you will work closely with our Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement specific components of a speech and language program as specified in the Individual Education Program (IEP).

Responsibilities
  • Execute specific components of a speech and language program as specified in the IEP
  • Implement goals and objectives listed in the Individual Education Plan
  • Work collaboratively with the SLP to develop and implement individualized plans for students
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in remedial speech/language difficulties in a hospital or school treatment facility preferred
  • SLPA License required
