We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Safety Specialist to join our team at the Salvation Army Tucson. As a key member of our aquatics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons while providing exceptional customer service.

• Monitor activities and observe swimmers to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
• Provide first aid and rescue services as needed
• Instruct swimming lessons and other aquatic programs
• Assist with general facility maintenance and cleaning duties
• Attend all in-service trainings and maintain certification requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a lifeguard
• American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid
• Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• American Red Cross Oxygen Administration certification
• AED certification
• Experience working with children and families
