RN ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to residents in accordance with the latest company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring the highest standards of quality care and respect are upheld at all times.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exemplifies dedication to the organization's mission, values, and ethical standards.
  • Assesses and monitors residents' health status, providing professional nursing care in line with care plans and physician directives.
  • Contributes to the development and assessment of care standards in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Initiates emergency interventions as necessary.
  • Oversees resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company protocols.
  • Conducts assessments to identify changes in residents' physical or mental health conditions.
  • Ensures that nursing histories are accurately documented in medical records for all residents.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in providing direct care to multiple patients/residents is preferred; experience in a skilled nursing environment is advantageous.
  • A nursing degree from an accredited institution or graduation from an approved RN program is required.
  • Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as an RN in Colorado.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Maintains proficiency in the setup, maintenance, and operation of medical equipment, including monitors and infusion devices.
