About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team at IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company. As a Yard Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, working closely with our team to prepare vehicles for auction and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle check-in and preparation, including recording and filing information on vehicles assigned to the facility
  • Detailing vehicles to improve their appearance and enhance their value at auction, with training provided
  • Operating passenger vehicles in a safe manner, moving them around the facility and participating in drive-through auctions
  • Recovering keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and storing them in the appropriate locations
  • Assisting visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate person for additional assistance
  • Training and development in forklift and loader operation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be physically fit, as this role involves working in all types of weather and lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for cars and a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in the equipment rental or construction industry is a plus, but not required.
