As a key member of our Commercial Banking division, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of Small Business clients, providing expert advice on financial management, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with clients to assess their financial management practices and provide recommendations for products and services.
  • Perform application and fulfillment processes for various solutions, making referrals to product and fulfillment experts as needed.
  • Manage and solve complex servicing issues for clients, maintaining a strong understanding of resources within Flagstar.
  • Proactively contact targeted clients to share the impact of Flagstar on their Small Business and set up appointments for deeper conversations.
  • Facilitate credit requests within Consumer Bank thresholds and refer larger credit opportunities to the Commercial Bank.
  • Meet individual performance goals of revenue/profit growth matrix on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate Degree, required.
  • 7 years of sales/client relationship management experience in banking/financial products, including significant experience with small business clients, required.
  • 7 years as a Small Business Banker, Business Banking Relationship Manager, or Branch Leader/Manager, preferred.
  • Formal credit training and small business banking sales training, preferred.
