About the Role
This position is one of the first on a newly formed team with a vision to create immersive automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon. We're collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online. As a key member of this team, you will design and build software solutions that enable delivery of innovative automotive experiences across devices and web.

Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams to think-big and invent novel customer experiences by developing solutions which include innovative UX strategies, AWS services, and large-scale back-end services.
- Deliver high-quality designs and implementation for medium-to-large scale projects across all areas of this new automotive shopping initiative.

Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer who has:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on your location.
