Salary Range: Up to $250K (salary is commensurate with education and experience)

Position Summary

The organization is in the process of developing a contemporary cloud-based platform aimed at replacing an outdated standalone, on-premise mission system. This cloud infrastructure will facilitate the automatic and efficient processing of substantial data volumes, empowering analysts to generate insightful reports. The primary objective is to deliver cloud support to the team.

Important Note:

This position necessitates an existing Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph.

Required Experience:
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
  • Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph
  • Significant experience in directing and managing the technical facets of cloud system migrations, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal service interruption
  • Prior roles involving technical advisory to senior leadership with exceptional briefing and documentation skills
  • Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on AWS, possessing a strong understanding of AWS cloud security best practices and tools (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, etc.)
  • Expertise in big data technologies, frameworks (such as Spark), and big data indexing solutions (Elastic, Kibana, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Oversee the performance and reliability of a suite of cloud systems
  • Familiarity with security accreditation processes and frameworks
  • Experience in transitioning to a cloud infrastructure and services from an existing standalone, on-premise system.
