We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Charge Cardiac RN in the Department of Corrections Unit at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. This is a full-time day shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Monitor patient vital signs, telemetry monitors, and EKG interpretation to ensure timely interventions.
- Administer medications and provide patient education to promote health and wellness.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of RN experience in a critical care setting.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
