About the Role:The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
- Serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Recommends and implements courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is a 100-bed acute care hospital offering a wide variety of healthcare services, including emergency care, urology, and orthopedics.
