Job Title: Registered Nurse Opportunities in New York

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in New York. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on clients with illness, injury, or health-related/psychological concerns.
  • Report significant findings to the appropriate medical provider and guardian, when necessary.
  • Implement prescribed interventions and provide accurate and efficient transcription of client information.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately, adhering to NYS and agency guidelines.
  • Monitor for signs of adverse reactions to medications and/or treatments.
  • Effectively triage phone calls regarding health-related concerns of youth in care.
  • Support other members of the nursing team to ensure quality care is delivered effectively and timely.
  • Oversee and supervise care provided by LPN and other health office staff.
  • Provide assessments, monitor, and care for youth in the event of a physical restraint.
  • Administer first-aid during emergency situations and coordinate patient care until EMS arrives or the youth is transported to an emergency department.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and NYS license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Adolescent Psych and/or Pediatric Experience is preferred.
  • Must have a valid New York State Driver's License and meet agency driving and insurance standards.
Compensation & Benefits:

We offer competitive pay, up to $6.50 shift differential for nights and weekends, and up to $15k sign-on bonus for full-time RNs.

This is a leadership position that shapes the implementation of care standards and builds the team to meet the standard of care.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, plus some on-call duties.
