Job Title: School Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled and passionate School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School Psychologist, you will provide a range of psychological services to support the mental health and educational development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective interventions and support strategies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
  • Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on psychological and educational issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student evaluations, interventions, and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and best practices in school psychology.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Colorado.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in school psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying current with industry trends.
