We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Homesite. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for quoting and selling homeowner's and renter's insurance policy premiums to incoming sales prospects from advertising leads while providing exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities- Quote and sell insurance products to new and current customers
- Advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to prospect circumstances and meeting the needs of the customer
- Run reports from multiple systems to verify accuracy of information provided by potential insured regarding insurance and driving history
- Explain coverage and payment options to the customer
- Responsible for outbound follow up on unsold internet leads which may have a likelihood of purchasing
- Service existing customer policies including policy changes when customer service is not available
- Follow up on underwriting department requests to ensure policy underwriting adherence and improve retention
- Attend sales meetings, seminars or educational activities to stay current with market trends, regulations and maintain state licensing
- Must have an active Property and Casualty License
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task with speed and accuracy
- Organizational and problem solving skills
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting pay of $23.00/hour and a Variable Compensation monthly bonus plan that can range from $2,500.00-$5,000.00 per month. We also provide comprehensive medical, dental, vision and wellbeing benefits, a competitive 401(k) contribution, a pension plan, an annual incentive, 9 paid holidays and a paid time off program (23 days accrued annually for full-time employees). In addition, our student loan repayment program and paid-family leave are available to support our employees and their families.
