About this Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality services for the Department of Corrections. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a unique healthcare setting.

• Provide high-quality telemedicine services within the scope of practice for Primary Care Physician services, following facility policies and procedures.
• Ensure basic computer competency for remote teleconferencing equipment use.
• Adhere to established medical staff by-laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

1. Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years performing services similar in scope in a public or private institution.
2. Specialty Services: Additional experience is required for specialized areas such as emergency medicine, surgery, etc.
3. Obstetrics/Gynecology: Additional experience is required for physicians providing services to female institutions/facilities.
4. Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of California with a valid Physician license issued by the Medical Board/Osteopathic Board of California.
5. Proficiency in the English language for effective communication with Department of Corrections staff.
6. Maintain current certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and active CCHCS credentialing status.

• $135,000 - $165,000 estimated annual salary based on location and experience.
