Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize market insights and industry knowledge to drive informed decision making with clients, impacting their commercial and operational performance of suppliers
  • Gain and manage stakeholder engagement at all appropriate levels and influence effectively
  • Provide input into client's scope of requirements and specification design, proposing best practice approaches to the market
  • Develop robust strategies that challenge clients' thinking and drive cost transformation
  • Develop negotiation plans and manage negotiation process with client and supplier(s)
  • Provide commercial input on contract terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Agree mobilization plans and manage activities with client and supplier(s) as required
  • Contribute to the development of Proxima's internal knowledge development in the Professional Services category

About You:
  • Operating in a client facing environment in a consultancy
  • Strong professional services category knowledge - Legal, Consultancy, Audit, BPO
  • Change management experience
  • Experience of managing and coaching junior team members
  • Demonstrable experience of articulating value propositions to clients
  • Proven track record in delivering high quality, strategic Procurement projects
  • Flexibility to travel domestically as required
  • Excellent planning, negotiation, and written & oral communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
