Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse - 13 Week Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract position.

Responsibilities:

* Implement and monitor patient care plans
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team

Requirements:

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
* National Institutes of Health (NIH)
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
* The ability to stand for extended periods
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* BLS Provider American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
* Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
* Minimum three years of RN Emergency Room experience
* Active unencumbered New York RN state license
* TNCC Certification experience
