Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and use all body shop equipment properly and safely.
  • Apply primer and undercoat uniformly.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for minor damage repairs.
  • Treat scratched and chipped areas with plastic or liquid filler.
  • Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces.
  • Tape the truck bodies up using tape, paper, and plastic bags.
  • Smooth unmasked surfaces with sandpaper.
  • Sand rough spots.
  • Remove masking tape and clean the vehicle.
  • Move the vehicle to the designated area for buffing.
  • Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment.
