Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the patient's physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects, and document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred
• BLS required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
