Senior Automotive Technician

Tire Works is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Senior Auto Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles with efficiency and accuracy.

• Diagnose vehicles using computerized equipment and perform complex repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including customers and store staff.
• Recommend services necessary to keep customer vehicles in running condition and properly document recommendations.
• Maintain ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to use computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Valid Nevada driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current ASE certifications.

The Senior Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold.

The Senior Automotive Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand five hours per day and walk to access various areas of the building.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly up to 10 hours per day.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
