Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, diesel, or gas ground support equipment maintenance.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Certification or License in relevant trades is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all ground support equipment according to established schedules.
- Develop troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for ground support equipment.
- Learn and execute repairs and procedures for maintaining ground support equipment.
- Ensure malfunctioning equipment is properly diagnosed and repaired before returning to service.
- Utilize tools and diagnostic equipment effectively for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Operate various types of equipment, both motorized and non-motorized.
- Adhere to all security and safety guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
- Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of the GSE shop and equipment.
- Report deficiencies to management and communicate professionally with team members.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Capable of bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
- Normal corrected hearing and vision are required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is necessary.
