Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Finish Carpenter to join our team at Nationwide Fixture Installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and installing fixtures, casework, and millwork in commercial and retail environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of finish carpenters to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.
  • Inspect and evaluate site conditions, construction schedules, and delivery timelines to identify potential issues and communicate effectively with the project management team.
  • Establish and understand layouts for millwork, fixtures, and other elements to ensure accurate installation.
  • Perform all tasks of a finish carpenter, including installation of cabinets, countertops, standing and running trim, scribing, coping, and installing wall panel systems.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification, Forklift, and aerial lift training (company-provided if necessary).
  • Strong working knowledge of woodworking hand and power tools, architectural drawings, shop drawings, and fixturing floorplans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, travel, and adapt to changing project requirements.
