Key Responsibilities
- Keep management updated on sales activities and competitor strategies, ensuring transparent communication across all departments.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all GFS products, articulating their functions, value propositions, and distinguishing features to clients.
- Represent GFS products confidently and clearly, emphasizing their benefits and the company’s core values.
- Identify current and future customer needs, presenting solutions that foster product demand.
- Recognize negotiation tactics employed by clients and leverage this insight to finalize deals at optimal pricing.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients while exploring new sales avenues within the assigned region.
- Develop annual sales budgets and business plans for the territory, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet financial goals.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, including distributor effectiveness and product line sales.
- Manage the sales pipeline for the territory, ensuring a consistent flow of leads and quotations, with a minimum of six months of projected sales in the pipeline.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
