Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in New Hanover County. As a pediatric school nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to students in a school setting.

  • Monday through Friday (flexible weekdays)
  • 6:45am-3:30pm
  • Excellent Pay

Responsibilities include:

  • Following a designated care plan in accordance with the patient's needs
  • Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
  • Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to our RN
  • Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders
  • Able to ride school bus with child
  • Medication Management

Requirements include:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) active license in the State of North Carolina
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • One (1) year of experience in healthcare; home care, home health, hospital, and/or long-term care environment (preferred)
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
