Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and medical personnel in the examination process, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Coordinate patient schedules and provide clerical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Perform routine tests, such as audiograms, vision tests, and EKGs, and assist with more complex procedures as needed.
  • Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and other essential information, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Provide nursing duties, such as suture removal, casting, and administration of injections, under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Chaperone examinations and patients, ensuring a comfortable and respectful environment.
  • Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the clinic runs efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in patient care as a Medical Assistant or 2 years performing electronic order entry with ABR-OE certification.
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required upon hire.
  • Preferred certifications: Medical Assistant - AMT, Registered Medical Assistant - AAMP, Certified Medical Assistant - AAMA, or nationally recognized equivalent.
