Your Role
We are seeking an Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on exceptional customer service and successful deal closures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts and overseeing funds.
  • Acting as a neutral intermediary between involved parties, ensuring adherence to company policies while mitigating risks.
  • Ensuring accurate accounting and disbursement of funds in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Preparing detailed reports on escrow account statuses for all parties involved.
  • Reviewing property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents.
  • Drafting legal documents necessary for the completion of sales.
  • Finalizing closings by recording and filing documents, and preparing final closing statements.

What You Bring
To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related roles.
  • Experience in handling escrow transactions, preferably as an escrow assistant.
  • A willingness to embrace new technologies and proprietary systems.
  • A customer-centric approach with a professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative spirit, contributing to a team environment that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and adaptability to new software applications.
  • A valid license or certification as required by state regulations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
