Job Overview

As a key liaison between healthcare professionals, patients, and our specialty infusion services, you will focus on building and maintaining relationships with physicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals in hospitals, offices, and clinics to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients requiring specialty infusion therapies.

You will also interact directly with patients when applicable, providing them with details about our services and answering any questions they may have.

Location: Southern GA and Florida

Key Responsibilities
  • Call on healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners, etc.) in various settings (hospital, office, clinic) to facilitate patient discharge and coordinate home infusion care.
  • Directly interact with patients in hospitals or clinics to explain services, answer questions, and ensure smooth transitions to home care.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the infusion business by maintaining existing referral sources and prospecting for new business through cold calling.
  • Meet and exceed defined revenue targets by growing existing business and expanding market share through new referrals.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy personnel to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Work with the owner of the pharmacy to develop accurate business projections, set goals, and implement strategies to grow specialty infusion therapy business.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills to manage communication with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Leverage the CRM data to create efficient sales routes and track activities in the CRM system, logging 50 sales calls per week.
  • Execute marketing and sales strategies with attention to detail and timely follow-up, aiming to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Follow and implement Vital Care promotional campaigns and target marketing plans to increase brand visibility.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with pharmaceutical counterparts and healthcare professionals in relevant therapeutic areas such as neuromuscular disorders, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Home health nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, or sales reps specialized in neuromuscular, ulcerative colitis, or Crohn's disease.
  • Required: Minimum of [insert years] sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Trella Health).

  • Willingness to travel 75-100% of the time within the defined territory.
