Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures with minimal supervision, utilizing your technical expertise and independent judgment to produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including radiographic imaging, to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, utilizing your knowledge of radiation safety and quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience or a degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and proficiency in radiography, fluoroscopy, and other relevant areas.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competent in components of radiographic practice, as determined by the Assistant Director.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality patient care and safety.
