Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Carbondale, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art cath lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiograms, and will work closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiograms
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiography machines and fluoroscopy units
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or medical imaging
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
  • 2+ years of experience in a cath lab setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
