We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with provider orders, hospital and nursing standards, established policies and procedures, and regulations.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed.
- Delegate tasks and provide guidance to other licensed and unlicensed teammates as required.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an ICU environment.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and procedures.
- Ability to apply the nursing process appropriately and assess patient needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
