As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Middletown Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Our facility is renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional short-term rehabilitation, subacute, and long-term healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement nursing processes and utilize clinical judgment to prioritize and deliver quality care to residents.
- Administer medications and standard nursing treatments while monitoring residents for any effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to update and revise Nursing Care Plans based on resident needs and observations.
- Document vital signs, treatments provided, and residents' responses accurately.
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), ensuring optimal resident health.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid LPN license in New York.
- Strong commitment to providing compassionate and clinically sound care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
