Tax Supervisor

Jobot is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related functions, ensuring compliance with local and federal tax laws, and providing strategic tax advisory services to the management team.

• Supervise and manage the tax department to ensure the smooth operation of all tax-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Provide strategic tax advisory services to the management team, offering insights and recommendations to optimize tax efficiency.
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
• Review and analyze financial documents and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead and oversee all tax audits and investigations, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and educate the team on changes and their implications.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, tax advisory, and tax compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and other financial management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
