About the Role:
At Teledyne FLIR Defense, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience with GC/MS method and application development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement GC/MS methods and applications for chemical detection and analysis.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to provide pre and post-sale support to customers.
- Interface with customers to provide assistance with method and application development and data analysis and interpretation.
- Provide feedback to marketing and R&D regarding application, hardware, and software features needed to stay ahead of changing market.
- Build and maintain positive and productive working relationships across a broad range of people and groups.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry.
- At least 3 – 5 years of experience with GC/MS method and application development.
- Customer support experience in chemical analysis and data interpretation.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communications skills.
