Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, supporting their daily living functions and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support the admission, transfer, and discharge process for residents, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruption to their care.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, including daily Range of Motion Exercises, and record data as required.
  • Follow established safety precautions when lifting, transferring, and moving residents, and wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to resident calls and addressing their needs with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current, unencumbered certification as a Nursing Assistant in this state or completion of a state-approved nurse aide training program.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or with the geriatric population.
  • Superior customer service skills and professionalism, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
