Lead a Team of Commercial Insurance Professionals

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Lines Lead to oversee our team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing CSRs, including coaching, mentoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage CSRs, including coaching, disciplining, mentoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Help on-board new CSRs, communicate job expectations, and utilize personal expertise and skill set for training
  • Evaluate individual CSR job performance semi-annually, identify and address developmental needs
  • Analysis of procedures and implementing streamlining
  • Train and oversee outsourced positions within department
  • Delegate workload when team members are out of office (sick/vacation)
  • Handle low level escalated customer service issues before elevation to upper management
  • Resolve accounting disputes within department

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to multitask, delegate, and demonstrate execution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving results.

In addition to your leadership skills, you should have a solid understanding of commercial insurance policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Applied EPIC is a plus, and Spanish speaking is also a desirable skill.
