Job Summary:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a Traveling SLP - Inpatient/Acute Care. As an SLP with Epic Travel Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and rehabilitation centers, and provide high-quality patient care while enjoying a fulfilling and challenging career.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in an inpatient acute care setting
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Alaska SLP License
  • 1 year of experience as an SLP in an inpatient acute care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FEES and MBS-IMP
  • Knowledge of Epic charting system
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
