Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and services. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our pharmacy, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions and processing patient information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
• Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
• Verify medication accuracy and check for possible interactions.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
