Job Summary

You will also perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, adjusting equipment to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing equipment to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective devices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain and ensure imaging equipment functions correctly, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and input data into the EHR system.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure reliable diagnostic images.
  • Stay updated on radiologic technology advancements and participate in ongoing education.
  • Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations and hospital policies, maintaining licensures and training.
Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • CA DPH CRT License.
  • CA DPH Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
  • Proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
  • Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months.
  • Current Annual Health Clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Flexibility needed.
