Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class B CDL Driver to join our team in our Nashville branch. As a Class B CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting merchandise to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance

Perform routine inspection of vehicle and merchandise to ensure road safety.

Route Planning and Execution

Plan route to and from customers' businesses and adjust for traffic and/or construction.

Manifest Management

Ensure that daily manifests are complete and accurate.

Customer Service

Safely transport merchandise to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

Loading and Unloading

Load truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer.

Record Keeping

Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Communication

Communicate effectively with dispatching and/or customers to resolve any delivery issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience and Skills

Experience with flat bed, air brake, and manual transmission.

Requirements

Clean Drug Test, Must provide a clean DMV report, Must pass DOT compliance background check, Must have a driving record in Good Standing, Valid California Class B license - Operate vehicle with GVW over 26,000 lbs with no restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

Forklift experience, Diligent attention to safety and detail, Maintain a neat appearance consistent with the construction industry.
