Role Overview: In this position, you will lead a team within a production unit or line, overseeing the transformation of raw materials into ABB products efficiently and cost-effectively. Your daily responsibilities will include ensuring smooth operations in line with production volumes, schedules, procedures, and quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that production scheduling aligns with the volume requirements established in the demand plan.
- Recommend enhancements to technical equipment and facilities as needed.
- Identify areas for improvement in production and oversee the implementation of strategies to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve critical product or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience (2-5 years) in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in monitoring KPIs and metrics to ensure high-quality performance, alongside strong supervisory skills in multi-shift production management.
- Familiarity with medium to high voltage electrical distribution products is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen events, and process optimization.
