Maintenance Technician I

**Job Summary:**

We are actively hiring for a Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Comar. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits, including paid overtime, health, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401k plan.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in maintaining production, HVAC, facility equipment, and infrastructure in good working order.
* Detect and correct errors before they cause damage to equipment or products.
* Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work performed on equipment.
* Operate equipment as required and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Adhere to and communicate Health, Safety, and Quality policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Requirements:**

* High school or Vo-Tech school graduate or equivalent.
* Proficient in basic computer use and able to quickly learn new systems.
* Reliable with a good attendance record.
* Ability to safely operate and use standard shop equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Knowledge of and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Technical certification in maintenance or working towards a mechanic, electrical, or other equipment-related discipline.

**Physical Demands:**

* Stand for most of the work shift.

* Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with heavier amounts able to be moved with assistance of equipment.
