About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team at Lakeview Staffing Solutions, LLC. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our valued clients in the industrial motion and controls industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Sales Engineers on customer visits throughout our territory, providing technical expertise and product knowledge to drive sales growth.
  2. Conduct product demos showcasing our industrial automation, motion, and controls solutions, highlighting their benefits and applications.
  3. Provide patient and positive assistance to customers, helping them understand our products and solutions, and addressing any technical queries they may have.
  4. Develop expertise in our electro-mechanical product line, including servo motors, drives & controls, stepper motors, actuators, gearboxes, robotics, variable frequency drives, and more.
  5. Apply servo, motion, and industrial control technologies to customer machine designs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  6. Engage in daily activities such as determining customer needs, providing system design assistance, preparing quotations, and offering startup assistance to ensure seamless project execution.
  7. Investigate customer requirements, resolve issues, and expand product sales by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships with key clients.
Requirements
  1. A technical degree in automation, electrical, or mechanical disciplines, with a strong foundation in electro-mechanical systems and industrial automation.
  2. Exposure to electric servo, motion control, PLC, actuator, precision gearbox, precision rail, and robotic industrial technologies, with a proven track record of applying this knowledge in a commercial setting.
  3. A genuine interest in technology and electro-mechanical systems, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
  4. Ideally, 1 to 2 years of experience in automation technologies, industrial machinery, or robotics, with a strong understanding of the industrial motion and controls industry.
  5. Must be a US Citizen, with a valid passport and ability to travel as required.
