Cafeteria Substitute

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cafeteria Substitute to join our team at Peoria Public Schools. As a Cafeteria Substitute, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students and staff while maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

• Assist with food preparation and serving
• Ensure a clean and safe food service environment
• Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

This is a part-time position working Monday-Friday, 7:30am-2:30pm. You will be required to work in a school cafeteria environment, which may include exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals.
