Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at MedQuest Associates. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures
  • Collect pertinent data about patients and procedures
  • Review patient charts and physician requests to determine optimal scanning parameters
  • Administer contrast agents and enter patient information to initiate scans
  • Assess and monitor patient physical and mental status throughout procedures
  • Review images to determine if additional scans are necessary
  • Document diagnostic, treatment, and patient data in patient records
  • Archive images to data storage devices according to established guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT registered (R), (MR), and (CT) certification
  • 0-4+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
  • IV skills required
  • Advanced knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
  • Advanced skill in operation of MRI equipment
  • Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
  • Customer service background and focus
