Locum Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified Family Practice NP to join our team in San Mateo, California.
About the PositionThis is a locum tenens opportunity for a Family Practice NP to provide adult medicine coverage in a busy clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with underserved patient populations and be comfortable with chronic and acute issues, as well as straightforward primary care procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with mid-levels and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage a high-volume patient load, up to 18 patients per day
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Board Certified Family Practice NP
- Current DEA, BLS, and California state license
- 2+ years of experience working with underserved patient populations
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Substance/Alcohol treatment with Suboxone/vivitrol required
